2. Increasing the supply of a qualified health care workforce to improve access to and the delivery of health care services for all individuals.
3. Enhancing health care workforce education and training to improve access to and the delivery of health care services for all individuals.
4. Providing support to the existing health care workforce to improve access to and the delivery of health care services for all individuals (Sec. 5001).
Title V goes on to explain that because doctors, nurses, and other health care providers are the backbone of health care system the Act supports and expands the nation’s health care workforce. The act provides funding of scholarships and loan repayment programs. By doing so the number of primary care physicians, nurses, physician assistants, mental health providers, and
Affordable Care and dentists will increase in the area of the country that need them most. With a comprehensive approach focusing on retention and enhanced educational opportunities, the Act combats the critical nursing shortage. And
