Counter Prescriptions Research Paper

The topic of choice would be the benefits of taking over the counter supplements rather than taking pharmaceutical prescriptions. The reason for the is that there are many side effects to taking pharmaceuticals prescriptions, while taking all natural supplements such as multivitamins, multiminerals, and herbs lack many the same type of side effects. As a society we have become dependent on quick fixes, which is causing us to become sicker. By adding more chemicals into our body we are able to fix one symptom, but adding more chemicals that our body is not used to and incurring more side effects and sometimes worse side effects leading to other problems. By continuing to learn more about natural remedies for different illnesses I will be able
to use this knowledge later in life as I progress into nursing and becoming a Nurse Practitioner. As well as my current employment as a Personal Trainer, and Sales Associate at Vitamin World. This field is interesting to myself, my personal training clients and customers that ask for my knowledge to base their decision to buy certain products over others. By continuing to expand my knowledge base of this information I will be able to continue to help future patients by providing additional options outside of pharmaceuticals, which could lead to a healthier society on patient or customer at a time.
