The movie Courageous directed by Alex Kendrick is one of the best movies ever made. Based off of a true story, it is a must watch drama and inspirational movie.This movie is about fatherhood and religion, how one incident can bring a group of people so close to realize what is important in life. It brings the crowd into tears. Every movie has that stab in the heart moment, when they least expect it, and tears start rolling down the audiences face. Some people may hate the event that happened but thats what produces a great movie. Another emotion Courageous has, is it brings the audience into a very tense mood. The audience is on the edge of their seats, biting their finger nails or covering their faces, maybe even squeezing the hand of the person next to them. During the movie there is a police chase that four of the dads are involved in. Two are on their feet running chasing after one guy and the other two are trying to catch the other one. The audience is scared for the dads as the two bad guys are trying to hurt them along with a little girl one of the guys found. Having this put into the movie messes with the audiences emotions which is perfect during movies. Courageous also makes you angry. While thinking the dads/police are all loyal and staying true to a contract they signed, the other dads catch him in lie. It makes the audience frustrated because the dad has a kid who he was needing to look after and now because he got caught in trying to get some money doing a side job, he is taken away from his kid, and friends and family.
