VI. Course Description
This course is designed to provide an overview of strategic Management concepts with current business practice in a way that is both interesting and effective for the students. Studying this course, students will develop basic knowledge of crafting, implementing and executing business strategies. This course covers a number of relevant areas that students need to know about thoroughly to develop a concrete understanding of Human Resource aspect of a particular organization.
This course contains theoretical analysis, illustrations, examples, case studies in order to understand the contemporary business world. Hence, it will provide the students better understanding of the concept of management of Business Strategy.
VII. Course Objectives
The prime objective of this course is to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of applying advanced approaches of SM to assist top management for developing & monitoring business strategy for sustainable business growth. The learners are expected to have hand in expertise to apply contemporary methods and techniques for managing, retaining, developing professionals. This course elucidates the specific needs of top executive’s role in driving and executing business strategies for the organization. In this course students will be exposed with the real life scenarios through solving relevant cases and interfacing practical situations. At the end of the course, the student will be able:
1. to understand the importance and functions of various aspects of SM; 2. to identify the linkage between SM and the overall business
