Airmen agree to limit their freedoms to be readily available for sho rt-notice assignments. They also forfeit certain freedoms like speec h and expression to support the needs of national security.

The tenacity to push through, self-discipline, self-control, hardiness of spirit despite physical and mental hardships, moral and physical courage. Elements include: Hardiness of Spirit, Courage (moral and physical), and Resiliency.

Define Air Force resilience.

Airmen's ability to withstand, recover, and/or grow in the face of str essors and changing demands by orchestrating the use of base res ources, support activities, peers, and leadership.
