Five credits for each team was the most offered by any of the three companies. But, could a gentleman’s club be depicted in any way that’s not detrimental to the league’s image? Our league could benefit from female viewership and support and our group decided this was not the way to go about it. Would parents feel comfortable letting their children associate a game they play and watch with a gentlemen’s club? If the league passed this proposal, we would have had an image problem with a large segment of the population that we as a league would have to spend a lot of time and resources addressing. Their offering was two credits with an additional tiered credit payout based on attendance. Our team, Team 1256, was third from last, so Mylan offered us two additional credits to have a total of four. Had we been one of the teams with higher attendance, we might have debated this proposal more. Adding on the reputation of Mylan after their epi-pen incident, this was definitely not an option for us. The teams at the top of the attendance ranking would benefited the most had this been passed, as the top two teams would have received eight credits in total compared to our
