Creative And Critical Thinking Abilities And Leadership
Question 1 The two attributes that I already have are creative and critical thinking abilities and leadership . This is because I have learned these two attributes when I was in my secondary school . Since I have been learned these skills over the years , so now
I can already apply them effectively in my daily routine. Both of these attributes really help me a lots in the way to achieve a goal and my dream. I will apply these skills not only in my three years university life but also in my future of the life.

Creative and critical thinking abilities are the ability to analyse , assess , and utilize different thinking skills to determine the value of information and ideas .
Critical thinking is not a matter of accumulating information. A person with a good memory and who knows a lot of facts is not necessarily good at critical thinking. A critical thinker is able to deduce consequences from what he knows, and he knows how to make use of information to solve problems, and to seek relevant sources of information to inform himself.Critical thinking should not be confused with being argumentative or being critical of other people. Although critical thinking skills can be used in exposing fallacies and bad reasoning, critical thinking can also play an important role in cooperative reasoning and constructive tasks. Critical thinking can help us acquire knowledge, improve our theories, and strengthen arguments. We can use critical thinking to enhance work processes and improve social institutions.

Critical thinking involves a persons ability to reason in order to support their belief. To begin the critical thinking process one must acknowledge the problem at hand, find information on the problem; research, examine the problem closely, apply moral principles, decide the best ethical choice and be able to support the claim, then go back over the process on how one came to their conclusion and lastly reflect on their decision. I have learned that the critical thinking skills process is a buiding block, each step builds onto the other to come to a ethical solution at the end. There is no shortcut to the steps and if I do so then I will not get a logical conclusion to my problem. I beleive out of all the steps the one I find myself using…

Norris (1989) argues that the fact that the degree of domain specificity in critical thinking remains unresolved makes assessment of critical thinking difficult. First, the type of inferences one is trying to make remains unclear to the extent that researchers cannot agree whether critical thinking is general or subject-specific. Second, it is difficult to assess critical thinking transfer, because transfer to other contexts is confounded with subject-specific knowledge that is necessary for exercising critical thinking. Thus, a student who fails to transfer to another subject either requires additional instruction in critical thinking or additional instruction in the subject matter. Similarly, the disposition to think critically is confounded…

Some misconceptions about critical thinking are that it is wholly a negative process it tears down ideas and puts nothing in their place. Another reason it is the best advice, it encourages me. It motivates me to do something that I really want to do. If want to do something that I doubt to do it, I will question myself with this advice and it gives me mental strength to proceed things I want to do badly. For example, after I finished my SPM examination, I have decided what I want to do after SPM but I doubt about my plans because I doubt my ability to fulfil it. However, when I this advice popped out in my mind, it motivates me to precede my plans. It gives me sense of brave in my inner soul that no matter what happen I should fulfil my dream. I have to try, I will never know what happen if I do not try. I do not want to feel regret in everything I do in my life. I must be brave to face it if I want it.…
