Eastman Kodak CO. which headquartered in Rochester New York, USA, was founded in 1892 by George Eastman. The company holds a vital role in the innovation and development of the motion picture industries as well as the film photographic industry. Kodak organized itself in 3 key segments: the Graphic Communication Group (GCG); the Film, Photofinishing, Entertainment Group (FPEG) and the Consumer Digital Imaging Group (CGD). )
This report relays to Kodak’s managers the importance of one’s company strength and weakness as well as advices on how to manage their crisis in the most effective manner. Feedbacks and recommendations were also included. Kodak has faced various crises in the past years, where lack of key decision and innovation led to Kodak filing for Bankruptcy in USA in Jan 2012.
We have further studied Kodak’s crisis, competitive strategy, organization culture and conducted a detailed analysis using S.W.O.T analysis to make recommendation to Kodak’s management on how to handle their crises better. It is also recommended that the company’s streamline is overall operational division, engage their employees to understand their moral as well seek suggestion on how to improve and become more profitable. In conclusion, Kodak should continue to innovate in their Consumer electronics range of product as well expand their online Kodak Photo Gallery services.

1.2 Background
George Eastman opened the first Kodak office in New York in 1880. His first Kodak camera, which carried a roll of film, could
