Question 1
The one item I selected from the “Customers” checklist is: “Make things that benefit the commons”. This means that a socially responsible corporation should be making the product that aims at improving the quality of life for the majority of the people. Such corporation should position itself for general population instead of focusing on niche market and provide products for small amount of people.
The one item I selected from the “Community” checklist is: “Make opportunity available for lower-income people in your community.” People are born with different backgrounds; some people are lucky to have more privileges over others mainly because of their income. A socially responsible corporation would try its best to satisfy all needs and make opportunity accessible for all levels of the people. The corporation will greatly benefit from the local community.
