1.0 Introduction
Open source software is computer software that is available in source code form, the source code and certain other rights normally reserved for copyright holders are provided under a software license that permits users to study, change, improve and at times also to distribute the software.
Hardware is a general term for the physical artifacts of a technology. It means the physical devices or physical components of a computer system, in the form of computer hardware.
Software is a collection of computer programs and related data that provide the instructions telling a computer what to do and how to do it. We can also say software refers to one or more computer programs and data held in the storage of the computer for some purposes.
