As per the Children Act of 2004 "Every Child Matters" and I will ensure that whilst in my care you child is healthy, safe, enjoys them self whilst achieving goals, makes a positive contribution and achieves economic well-being. In addition to this the Children Act of 1989 acknowledges children's rights in UK law and states "the needs of the child are paramount"
All children will be encourage to learn in line with the Childcare Act of 2006. I will be assisting you in developing your child in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which is aimed at children between the ages of 0-5 years old
The Race Relations Act of 1976 which was amended in 2000 ensures that you child will be in an environment of equal opportunities. This is supported by the Equality Act of 2010 which provides clear legislation in order to protect people from discrimination such as race, gender or religious discimination
Food Safety Regulations of 1995 promotes high standards of general food hygiene and safety which I adhere to and hold a Level 2 - Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate as of February 2014
The Data Protection Act of 1998 protects your personal information from being shared with anyone without your permission. You will need to give permission for your child's information to be shared with anyone
