Natural selection is where on an island or some place, the food supply might be different to the island next to it. So, the animals there, breed to successfully make a new specie, compatible to the land. It makes it easier to eat and survive the ways of the place they live. Like if one of the islands only had big nuts, a small bird would slowly die off, or breed with another bird to change its features. If the other island only has small insects, birds with smaller beaks would last longer than birds with really big beaks. Previous teachers of Charles Darwin, were very disappointed in his theory and the way he turned on his religion. Many young scientists and others supported his theories and beliefs throughout his life, while many made jokes, became disappointed in him and caused disputes. Even though there were many more disbelievers than there were believers, the supporters of the new theories stayed strong throughout the tough times. They fought against the religious, and burnt the disbelievers at their own reasons and jokes. Darwin had published his book “the origin of species”, and also 12 others.
