David Petrous
David Petraeus is a retired military officer and public official. He gained his position as the director of the Central Intelligence Agency in December of 2011. He resigned from his job as The Director of the Central Intelligence Agency in November of 2012 due to an affair he was having with Paula Broadwell, which was discovered by the FBI. Petraeus was a four-star general who served over thirty years in the United States Army. In 2004, he was promoted to Lieutenant General. In 2007, he was promoted to General. In April of 2008, President Bush nominated General Petraeus to command U.S. Central Command headquartered in Tampa, Florida. This was quickly approved by the senate. In 2010 he was appointed to be the commanding general of the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan. In 2011, a year later, he was unanimously appointed to be the Director of the CIA. Petraeus resigned due to an affair he was having with Paula Broadwell. This affair was discovered by the FBI after Jill Kelley was receiving threatening e-mails from an anonymous sender. After research and high-tech tracking techniques, the e-mails were tracked to Paula Broadwell. After Broadwell was called in for questioning, she admitted to an affair with General David Petraeus. Her computer was then taken, and confidential documents were found, which led to further hacking and technical tactics done by the FBI to find out times, and the number of emails being sent between Broadwell and Petraeus. What does this say about America? I do not condone cheating, and I do not think this man’s having an affair behind his wife’s back is a good thing. But Petraeus was a respected military official, who did a lot for this country. He may not have been a good husband, but he was a good American who devoted a lot of time to this country. He should not have been forced to resign. If a very famous and respected man of the military can have his e-mail hacked by the FBI, then none of us are safe from

During Gowdy’s question of Jim, it is clear that Clinton has not been in the ballpark of authenticity. Any reasonable person in Clinton’s position should have known a private email is no place to send or receive classified information . Therefore, it can be deduced that Hilary Clinton is no average person and standard laws and regulations do not apply to her. If anyone else with a lower status was caught being “extremely careless” with said classified information, they would be in a huge heap of trouble but not her. Several of Jim’s statements directly contrasts to Clinton’s claims. One claim was that all work-related emails will return to the state department, but Jim states bluntly, “No, we found work-related emails, thousands that were not returned”. Therefore, there is no uncertainty as to whether or not Clinton was dishonest, she was, and Gowdy’s fear of a “double track justice system” is a distressing…

General Petraeus was responsible for providing continuous leadership throughout the operation of mission command. In Mosul, Petraeus made it clear that public safety was a shared responsibility. As a leader, it is also important to be able to ask for feedback, which is what he did with a small group of individuals who he trusted and admired. As a way to keep his commanders on their toes, he would grill them and focused on…

Comey was a minor assistant US attorney in the late 90s. The engaging, alluring scent of the wildflowers on a farm matches that of fabric softener, expensive lotions, and fresh pinecones, but about 100 yards from this pleasing scent exists a rather smelly one that comes from the hog houses filled with the feces of a thousand pigs. When the noun smell becomes the adjective smelly, it changes the meaning-- changes it from an engaging alluring scent to a repulsive, vile one. This bad smell resembles the scents of Farty Fred, Pig-Pen, and David Smith.…

In 1971, Nixon created the Special Investigation Unit, know as the "plumbers", their job was to plug all new leaks. Later that year, his agents broke into the office of Dr. Lewis Feilding, and Dr. Daniel Ellsberg, who had given copies of the Pentagon Papers, a secret account of U.S. involvement in Indochina, to newspapers. After Nixon learned of the break-in, he and his top advisors decided to say that the break-in had been carried out for naitonal security reasons(Watergate 3). Later in 1971, H.R. Haldeman, Nixon's chief of staff, was notified by an assistant, Gordon Stachan, that the U.S. Attorney General John Mitchell and John Dean, counsel to the president, had discussed the need to develop a "political intelligence capability" at the Committee for Reelection of the President(CRP). Some of the personnel and tactics identified with the activities became associated with efforts aimed at the Democrats. In early 1972, Mitchell assumed a new position as director of the CRP and discussed political espionage plans with Dean. Mitchell also provided the proposal to break-in to the Watergate(Branford 3). On June 17, 1972, police arrested five men at the DNC…
