Daycare Should Be Banned In Schools

This is the most debated topic for years. As to weather the school should provide daycare centers for pregnant teens or not. Personally I agree for schools to open a daycare centers to these young teens who get pregnant. Many teens dropout of school because they can’t afford or have no means for daycare, this leads to them missing so many days of school taking care of their babies. They can’t handle the stress of school and a young baby so they choose to dropout. So do you think the school should just sit back and do nothing? Well I don’t think so.

High schools should have a day care for children of teen mothers in their campus. The public school daycare will give teen mothers the opportunity to finish their education, take away some of the mother’s stress, and give them a better way to care for their child. With the help of the day care, teen moms and pregnant teens will be able to get more knowledge of taking care of their babies. They can get experience and know who and where their child is. There’d be no need of stressing unless it’s because of unfinished homework.
The community must come together and help the teens out, by having public daycares.
Dropping out of school will be a thing that people will never consider. They can stay in school and get a great education to get a good job so they can better themselves and their babies. Many people think that having public school daycare programs will encourage teens to be more sexual active. Schools should provide students with the right information and education to prevent these pregnancy problems. They also can provide safe sex programs to their students. With the schools giving a few students a condom, it can prevent some of the many pregnancies going on
now.

Schools should provide all types of sex education programs to young teens in high school. When in an unfortunate pregnancy occurs, they should have the daycare for teen mothers to bring their babies. Then young mothers won’t have to dropout, can finish getting a good education, and have a better life with her family.

I disagree with the teacher who wrote the article. The teacher seems not to want these daycare centers for the pregnant teens. I think it’s because of his age and the decade he was born into. The teacher needs to understand those teens now days are exposed to a lot of mature stuff through the Internet and TV. We can’t stop teens from having sex but what we can do as a society is to educate them in ways to prevent from getting pregnant. Even if they do get pregnant then we should support them through the hard times and not leave them to learn a lesson because they are already learning a lesson at that present moment.

Sociologist might want to study teen pregnancy so that they can get a better understanding and perceptive into these young minds. Studying them will help understand the behaviors that make teens involve themselves into sexual activities. Also will help them understand the role their friends and family play in their daily lives. At the end they will have enough information that might help reduce or solve the problem of pregnancy in these high school students. So it’s important that research and studies be done on pregnant teens in order to understand what makes them do what they do.
