Dean Wharmby: A Case Study
A bodybuilder, Dean Wharmby, from Rochdale who eat junk food and drank eight cans of energy drink to gain weight, died of liver cancer, on July 19 caused by years of steroid abuse.

Wharmby had been battling cancer for five and a half years.

Dean Wharmby had a physique that was admirable to many. He was big and he was bulging, and that was exactly what he was looking for.

He was obsessed with getting bigger and ate a diet that consisted of 10,000 calories a day, many of which came from unhealthy foods like burger and pizza. Dean also drank 7 to 8 cans of energy drinks a day.

Wharmby has first developed health problems in 2010 when multiple tumours were found in his liver which was due to the misuse of anabolic steroids.
