Over the past 2 -3 months Kelly has repeatedly been recognized by provider's during my face-to-face visits, they have described her as an exceptional advocate for our members and valued collaborator to our providers. One-on-one provider visits are primarily led by the providers to address the topics they feel would be most helpful for them, which almost always leads to requests for a specific guided training or claim resolutions; so it was especially rare and inspiring to have several of them voluntarily make it a point to identify and praise one of our UHC CBCM's. It was encouraging to hear their perspective on how dedicated Kelly is to her members, and how reliable they find her to be in working with them to address any obsticles they may…
Time Period: Many more instruments were introduced during this time period and added a new layer to the music of this period instead of being just vocal music or church music. The rhythm of music in this period flowed gently rather than having a sharply defined beat, the melodic lines had greater rhythm independence, and the melody usually moves along a scale with few large leaps.…

Rock and roll is a genre of popular music that originated and evolved in the United States during the late 1940s and early 1950s, primarily from a combination of predominantly African-American genres such as blues, boogie woogie, jump blues, jazz, and gospel music, together with Western swing and country music. Though elements of rock and roll can be heard in blues records from the 1920s and in country records of the 1930s, the genre did not acquire its name until the 1950s.…

I. (Attention Grabber) George Strait emerged in the early 80’s and is still winning awards to this day. Just last week he won album of the year and single of the year. II. (Central Idea)It’s unbelievable how many years this man can keep making number one hit albums and songs over a course of three generations. George has had 50 number one hits while his albums consistently go platinum and gold. He hasn’t changed the sound of his music since the beginning of his career, which seems to amaze lots of people due to the changing of the music industry over the last thirty years. III. (Credibility) I haven’t been to a concert, but I have listened to his music since I was a little girl. IV. (Preview) Tonight, I would like to honor…
Deep in the heart of the American South, slavery, along with the slave breaking and auctioning businesses, was in full swing. Plantations were known to be home of the most strict, demanding, and cruel slave masters around. Although all overseers and masters of slaves are undeniably evil, those who were religious had a particular sting that came along with their whip and burn by the words of their tongues that was incomparable to that of others. Corrupting the minds of young innocent children and ignorant adults, incapable of knowing a world much better. Religious slave masters are the worst type of master because they are hypocrites, use religion and the Bible to justify abuse, and they twist ideas about religion leaving a negative connotation…
From my early childhood, all the way until now and I am sure to the future and beyond I have been fascinated by music. I have loved to listening to, playing, singing, and writing music as well. I can vividly remember when I was very young in our family room we had a stereo and my family and I would dance and play along to music. I specifically remember The Beatles and The Eagles. I had a small plastic snare drum that I use to use until sadly I stepped on it. Both of my Uncles played music and were in a band themselves. My Uncle Ed was a drummer and my Uncle Ronnie was a guitarist and a singer. I remember going to concerts for their band a t a young age as well.…

When any misfortune punishes, who is guilty? This thought is not so easily eased, especially when lives of loved ones are lost in the situation. In the moments when awful events happen, the finer is always pointed at one person or another. At times, even the person least expected. Romeo and Juliet, a famous play by William Shakespeare, approves this thought and provides a clear reminder that many characters could be possible suspects to Romeo and Juliet’s death. With what has already been said, the character most responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death would have to be Friar Lawrence. This is believed because he was the one responsible providing Juliet with the remedy of faking death. Also, he did not keep in contact with…

My interest in music was well established at the age of 11 when I started to learn Harp. It all started one day during the music lesson in school, that I was impressed by this magnificent instrument and its reverberating, angelical sound. So I moved to first learn of the basic techniques and consequently deepen my study into the history and theory of Music, and afterwards joining a Harp Ensemble wanting to gain more experience playing the instrument. Since then, I got more opportunities to perform in front of an audience and motivating myself to continue to learn the techniques use to play harp. Among my most meaningful performances, I think the ‘Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation Little Heroes Sharing The Love Concert’ has been the most worthy one because this concert in particular had the objective of raising funds to provide medical help to poor people in Africa, that cannot afford medications. In this occasion I felt the matter was not just about playing in concert but through the power of music I got to instrumentally help a cause. Besides that, at the age of 14, I began to learn the piano, and since strengthen my techniques at stroking the cords, the fluency of movement in my fingers and the expression I conveyed in the piece. The biggest challenge that I had to overcome was the fact that I was often compared to other students that were younger than me and more skilled than I was because of having learned the instrument at a younger age. Even so, I did not let this factor take me down or my passion for music because everyone has a different way to interpret a melody. I must say that practicing consistently everyday has been my winning card when I reached to further improve my technique. I did not let criticism get to my nerve but instead I empowered myself in front of my competitors and I think I have achieved a better perspective about music and how to use it. In three occasions, I was asked to compose three songs using the program Sibelius, which…
