Declaration Of Independence Reflection
When the Declaration of Independence on July 14, 1776 was created, separating colonies of America from Great Britain, it was stated in the second paragraph that “All men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” was to represent the freedom of each individual to an extent, but more importantly it was created for all men to be equal. This set in stone formal institution simply can not necessarily be implied in today's society. The fruit of their labor can not be portrayed nor shown to its true nature, It can not be liquidated, broken down into small pieces to distribute, because it would be a incorrect.

A prime example is Donald Trump, his beliefs has spreaded across the nation even inspired those to join his ideologies. Not everyone may necessarily agree, but it does show that ideals can spread and influence others. However, the origin of government officials are the people. A government, is made to represent the people rather it’s for best or the worse. In addition, one action I can take to promote Social Justice is by contacting the government officials of my local. In this interaction, I will bring up conflicts I have noticed in my area, specifically the downplay of education in urban communities of schools such as Julian High school, Fenger Academy High school compared to better prep schools such as Jones college prep or Northside College prep. More importantly, Why is their a huge gap with one’s education and learning from one location to another? Is this based on the ethnic groups within that school community? Etc. Overall, contacting a local official and exemplifying the social injustice to them,can potentially cause the local official to invest into such activities that can spread

    In the first two paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence, it states that every human is created equally by God. The colonist argument for freedom is the Laws of Nature and God impel them separate from the injustice that Britain was enforcing on them.
