I won’t forget the day I met Tina Gorsuch who serves as my Mentor and Employer. It was a rainy day and I had finished my classes but was disillusioned about life. I had nowhere to go so I decided to go to a Pub and drink to stupor. As I walked towards my Car, I felt this empty feeling that made me distraught. I was to accompany my Sister to see her Dentist the next day so I just managed to stumble home. The night was uneventful as I kept gazing at the Stars and wondering what the future held.
The next day, when I walked into the Dentistry, I noticed a glow and charm about this lady. She was professional in all she did and we started talking on issues that had to do with my life. I still do not know why she picked
an interest in me but she spoke words of healing and hope to my heart. As we were about to leave, she gave me an offer which changed my world. She told me she believed in me and wants me to live a good life. She offered me a place in her practice and promised to support me through School as I train to be a Dentist.
I saw someone who believed in me and this jolted me to life. I could not resist the offer. I started working with Dental Pros which is the practice run by Tina Gorsuch. She made out time to talk with me and find out what was happening in my world. I started becoming confident and had a new lease of dexterity in everything I did. My first year in School was smooth as I had received all the mental and psychological preparation from my mentor. I had broken the habit of using substances and was clean due to the impact of this great woman.
Each time I look at this event that happened 4 years ago, I know my life was heading for the rocks but for her intervention. She became family to me and she still is. I have been able to master the art of controlling my emotions and looking at life from a balanced perspective. She taught me how to give back and be a blessing to others. I have a richer life and I am a sharp contrast from the disillusioned young woman who met with destiny 4 years back in a Dentist’s office.
The bond that runs with all the staff in Dental Pros make it the ideal place to grow and learn. I have started rounding off my pursuit on General Dentistry but would specialize just like my mentor; Tina has done. Every time I get to work, I feel a surge of energy which makes me know that my life is now on the right track. I owe my Mentor deep appreciation for all the help I have gotten despite the fact that I honestly didn’t deserve it. As I look to the future, I am buoyed by the possibility of helping other young women to reach for the Stars. I believe that this chain of goodwill started by my Mentor would keep rolling for many years.
