they are compassionate to others and that they can be trustworthy for future help.
For example, Spider Man had helped people with robberies and fought against lots of criminals. When heroes can provide an aura of a safe environment for the citizens (or for important people, whichever comes first), it can ensure an amount of trust that is given out. More trust is more help and more help from the hero is more publicity for he/she. Lets just say a hero had to face a life/death crisis for the entire town. If they beat the bad guy, they save the town but if the lose, the town gets blown up.
The hero can’t just say, “I think I can save the day tomorrow, let this town get blown up.” That’s just ruining the bonds of friendship between the hero and society. For example, Batman had killed Harvey Dent (who was Two Face at the time) because his purposes were unjustified. Batman was the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needed at the time. Because Harvey was a hero at the time, he wanted to keep his reputation clean (since he did do some bad things), so he sacrificed HIS own reputation to do so. In tough times like these, the hero needs to have a purpose in everything they do so it won’t have a negative impact in the
future. As stated previously, some superheroes have powers while others don’t.
Have you ever seen a person in real life that saves people without using any
powers? How about doctors? They give 100% to make sure a person is healthy so they can live THEIR life to the fullest. What about in literature? Did you guess Iron Man? As stated from “The Avengers”, “Big man in a suit of armour.
Take that off, what are you?” “Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.”
What that meant was Tony Stark had used his skills to build a machine that could
HELP people. In the past, his father had made machines of war. He even helped make the atom bomb. Tony wanted to change his reputation by helping others and eventually when Iron Man was viewed as a public hero, he told the world that he was Iron Man. So superheroes don’t need to have powers to be special. Or anyone who doesn’t save the day is special. As long as you help someone out, to them, you’re special. There are lots of qualities that can make up a hero, but everyone has their own opinion. People like to think of heroes as fantasy like people, since they have basically everything; good looks (abs, muscles, etc.), strength, money, etc. but it doesn’t have to be that way. Heroes can be big or small, strong or weak, or they can have powers or not, but I think everyone is a hero. Excellent work. 4.
