Out of a lot of things in the world, most people want others to respect them. Most people also want to respect others. Despite the fact that most do not respect others or get respected, what does the word really even mean? The word respect gets thrown around by a lot of people in the world. Those people most likely do not even know the real meaning of the word. Of course they know respect is, “a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.” The meaning of respect can go many ways, depending on the type of person is defining the word, the way they are defining the word, and the different cases that the word is being used in.
