Go back to XIV century when poets had to look at naked women with snow-white skin, dark blue eyes and burning red curls to produce poems, more captivating than the sunrise. Go back to when writers were considered drunk heads, with nothing to lose and nothing to gain. The only solace they had was to dress their scars in words, convey rage in a paragraph and hide the grief behind the pages.

Inspiration is a fragile thing. It is like the wind- you can’t see it but you can feel it, running through the ends of your hair, pushing all your papers from the table making them form a tornado out of words. As invisible as the wind and a ghost, it could turn into a something material. Like the poets before, as cliché as it sounds, inspiration could be a person. A primate, that you could touch, hear and feel. You could hold their hand and describe their warmth, you could listen to their voice and draw it on the paper with words, or just look and convey the emotions they divulge in a story. Like a dream catcher you have to master the skill to catch only the words you need. You become a hunter, haunting your prey, that could be a stranger on the bus and you end up following through their way home. A hunter, scanning the center of your city for people wondering with their heads in the clouds. Once you fix your sight on someone, you will let the hunt begin with sharpened arrows in the form of pencils, and armor made out of paper . But be careful, because sometimes the stories that come out of stranger could be dangerous for your inspiration in storytelling, as even the smallest detail you lose could reflect in a pestilent wound, predictable plot twist or even unfinished ending.
