To add on, Delacroix traveled throughout Europe, but Morocco seemed to be the place where he was most influenced. It is said to be that Delacroix’s paintings were admired by many but also, offended by contemporary critics.
Aside from that, Delacroix was well known for the way he painting. One of Delacroix’s most famous and inspiring paintings would have to be “Liberty Leading the People” created in 1830.
