Delivery of Human Services Program Many people rely on human service programs. This paper will discuss the delivery of human service program for men, women, and teenagers. There are various men, women, and teenagers that need help with reproductive health care education. Planned Parenthood provides sex education to men, women, and teenagers. Planned Parenthood acts as an advocate for their clients.
Planned Parenthood According to "Planned Parenthood" (2012), "for nearly 100 years, Planned Parenthood has promoted a commonsense approach to women’s health and well-being, based on respect for each individual’s right to make informed, independent decisions about health, sex, and family planning” (Planned Parenthood). Planned Parenthood healthcare providers offer men and women affordable medical care.
How Services are Delivered Planned Parenthood has been able to be around for so long because this organization provides their clients with trustful healthcare services and information. According to "Planned Parenthood" (2012), services are delivered to clients through "preventive, primary care, which helps prevent unintended pregnancies through contraception, reduce the spread of sexually transmitted infections through testing and treatment, and screen for cervical and other cancers. Caring physicians, nurse practitioners, and other staff take time to talk with clients, encouraging them to ask questions in an environment that millions have grown to trust (Planned Parenthood). Planned Parenthood offers supports group to clients who have had an STD before or who have terminated a pregnancy in the past.
Depending on the location the services offered by Planned Parenthood are abortions, birth control, emergency contraception (morning after pill), general health care, HIV testing, LGBT
