Myth:
When Zeus was born his father swallowed all of his siblings because he feared they would take control. As an adult, it would be Zeus who took control from his father and made him cough up siblings.

Poseidon’s major symbol was known as the trident. He was the god of the sea.
Description:
His hair was dark brown with a gray streak. He had sea green eyes that turned storm gray when angry.
Siblings:
He was a Zeus’s brother. He married Amphitrite, who was the goddess of the sea. They had many children including a son who was half man/half mermaid. He was second in power to Zeus and was said to have a mean, hateful, vengeful personality. He was also very greedy.
Myth:
All of the seamen worshipped Poseidon. Before they took a trip they would pray to him and drown a horse in his honor. If a trip was taken without praying to him first, he would make the earth shake violently by hitting it with his trident causing huge waves and the ship to wreck.

She portrayed a mature women, usually wearing a crown and dressed in cloth. Sometimes she would carry around shears of wheat or barley while holding a cornucopia. She enjoyed time alone while having a kind and gentle personality.

She was the sister of and also had a child by Zeus (Persephone). She also had 2 children by her brother Poseidon.

It was believed that she made the crops grow each year therefore, the first loaf of bread was offered as a sacrifice to her each harvest season.

She had strawberry blond hair while having absolutely flawless skin. Aphrodite was thought of as the most beautiful goddess ever seen. She wore a lot of gold jewelry.

She was the daughter of Zeus and was said to be the most beautiful goddess of them all. She married Hephaestus, they had no children together. She had many lovers including Ares, Dionysus, Hermes, Poseidon, and Adonis.
