Being a mother of three is stressful, and when you combine all “motherhood” entails, it gets nothing short of difficult. Cooking and feeding three times or more each day, getting them ready, bathing, assisting with homework, and at the end of all that madness, bed time.
The above may seem like an abundance, thats because it is. Although, for parents like Dora add working full time, paying bills, cleaning the house, washing dishes, doing laundry, running errands, doctors appointments, picking up and dropping off children to after or before school programs, activities or sports and the occasional bake sale to her job description. The stressors for working parents are completely different from those who do not work. The main factor, “TIME”. Although, for a working parent this is an enormous stressor. They must first see if there is an available appointment time that can be arranged around their work schedule, and if it cannot the stressor now turns into having to take time off work just to get this done. This is now a downward spiral. Missing hours from work, which could potentially affect the finances in the household. That then could affect other obligations made with that missed
