Descriptive Essay
The beach is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Before visiting, I had only been to the four states, which is the stringy grassy fields, the forest of trees, the smelly white and black cows and pink curly tailed pigs. See I had never seen any other states but Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. I love the picture in my head but it was nice to finally see something different. When my boyfriend, his little brother, and I went to Pensacola, Florida, it took about 14 hours of long driving. Eventually we made it. We passed through Arkansas. I had been to Rogers before, so none of that was new. We got into Van burean, I couldn’t believe my eyes. There were mountains of beautiful trees. All the hills with green were amazing. I had never seen anything like it. When we went down further into Arkansas, I couldn’t believe the poverty. It was bad. No, I am not racist, but there were black people in all directions. I was scared, because I had heard stories of bad events happening. We were asked if we wanted some pills, or cocaine and we didn’t even know the guy! I drove further, and further. After what seemed like ten years we arrived to Mississippi! I saw the Mississippi River for the first time! It was dark, but I embraced the moment of knowing I was beside it! It was spectacular. I saw a little of it when we crossed the bridge. It was absolutely soothing to see it. We drove deeper into Mississippi and stopped at a gas station. I couldn’t wait any longer to adventure on, so I told them to hurry up and get in the car. We finally arrived at Alabama. Dalton (which is Blake’s little brother) and my boyfriend (Blake) made me stop. They picked up some boiled peanuts. I had never tried anything like them before!
