The Walden Project Introduction: Every day I find myself walking into my kitchen and looking out of the stunning window view which allows me to see the skyline and an abundance of beautiful vegetation. The natural thing that I will be observing is the portion of the sky that is viewable from the window in my kitchen. I am ecstatic to begin this project because although I look through that window every day, I have never found the time to actually examine and appreciate the beauty of the nature with a fine tooth comb.
Day: January 1, 2015
Weather: clear skies with hard winds.
Time beginning: 10:30 am / Time ending: 10:45am

I am greeted into my back yard by the unfortunate screams of ambulances sirens, but I continue to focus on the subject and I slowly begin to notice that the sky is noticeably more vibrant than it had been in my pervious observation. The light from the sun complimented the bright blue sky very extravagantly, causing me to gawk at its beauty for minutes on end. Thankfully the wind is much milder, allowing me to sit down and enjoy myself as I take a long gaze into the distance. To the least of my expectations, it was very quiet in my back yard; no birds, no barking, no children playing, just pure silence. I’m not sure if I like the muteness, but despite the hush, the skyline speaks to me with its spectacular vastness and its magnificent color, breaking the previous silence I found myself trapped in. In conclusion, the colorful sky, the warm rays of sun, and the mild winds provided me an ideal atmosphere to enjoy the view; I am very content with this morning’s
