Devils Demon is in the form of a substance. When a person opens the door to this deadly demon, he is simply inviting him in to destroy his life not to mention his family and friends closest to him. Drugs can take over his entire life if he does not take consideration of the short and long terms effect this will have on his life and the family and friends surrounding him. Abusing drugs can have a harmful effect on one's family, his physical, mental health, and the future of his life.

Abusing drugs can effect someone in physical and mental ways. Drugs can lead to lack of eating, loss of weight, dark eyes, teeth decaying, acne, and loss of hair. It can make the immune system weak, which causes the body to be more susceptible to diseases. They can also cause seizures, strokes and different types of brain damage, which can lead to problems with one's ability to remember, pay attention, and make decisions in his everyday life. This can result to
depression, mood swings, suicidal thoughts, and overall mental state of mind. Drugs will mentally destroy a person. Drug use can have an immediate impact on someone's body and mind, but it can also affect his future and his relationship with others.

Drugs can turn someone into a whole new person with the way he acts, thinks, and lives. When someone is abusing, he can become antisocial, and push people away from him so he can be alone. He can also become more aggressive, making it easy for him to get mad when someone speaks in the wrong tone, or even when someone looks at him the wrong way. If a family member is trying to help out the user, he can get aggravated easily and end up losing control of the way he acts towards someone trying to care for him. When he is looking for money for his next fix, it will cause him to do anything. The abuser will lie, steal, and hurt whoever to get what he wants. Families can fight a lot more from the problems the drug abuse is causing. When someone is addicted to drugs, he may not realize he has a problem or that he is sick, so he will not look for treatment. This can lead into making bad decisions; for example, someone can lose everything and ruin his
future.

It is against the law to make, sale, and have drugs in possession. It is also against the law to give prescription drugs to people who do not have a prescription from a doctor. The punishment for this can be going to prison, having to pay a bunch of money, or being forced to enter a rehabilitation program. Drug use can also affect his or her ability to concentrate at work. The side effects of using drugs can feel like having a hang over and like he is coming down from something, which can reduce his ability to focus. If someone is not doing his job and he is slacking a lot, then he can be fired. Since drug use can be expensive, if someone loses his job then he will not be able to afford to pay for it. Therefore, when someone is addicted to drugs he or she will try anything to get their next fix; for example, he may steal, break into homes or businesses, rob someone, and prostitution. Also if someone loses his job, he will not be able to pay his bills such as rent, food, and utility bills. Under these circumstances, he will be kicked out of his house and forced to be homeless.

The effect of drugs hurts many people everyday and is a very common issue around the world today. There are a lot of short and long term effects of drugs that people do not realize. Abusing drugs can effect family members, physical and mental health, and the future life. Drugs can cause someone to lose a lot of things like: family, physical health, mental state, his job, house, and most importantly he can lose himself.
