News Discourse Analysis from the Perspective of Ideology
——The Comparison between the Reports towards July Urumqi Riots from Western countries and China
Abstract:An ideology is a set of comprehensions and ideas to objects and the world which directs one’s goals expectations and actions.Ideology is not inherent in one’s brain, but from the existence of societies.Ideology is generally referred to as a dominant way in which news people validate and give meaning to their work. The article compares the various reports of the July 2009 Urumqi riots from western and Chinese medium. With the comparison and analysis of these cases, the perspective reported to the incident was quite different between Chinese and Western medium. Some reasons will be stated from the perspective of ideology.

As we all know that it is limited for us to surf some western countries` websites in China such as Youtube facebook and New york Times.Because the administrators believe that there are many news and information that may mislead citizens to form a wrong conception of the government and social system.Hence, there exists a problem that how the western medium report the news about China on earth and why?
1 Introduction of ETIM
In this passage,attention are mainly paid on the violent and terroristic incident which were launched by ETIM.
The East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) which is also known as the Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP), Turkistan Islamic Movement (TIM), and other names is a Waziri based group. Its stated goals are the independence of East Turkestan.
