Differences Between Universities Between Afghanistan And Afghanistan
Going to university is one of the first step after finishing the high school. It is the path in which you will choose a specific major, and which will lead you to your future career. As I am a student of Kabul University, I am not satisfied completely with the approaches they teach. However, now I am an undergraduate student in the American university of Afghanistan which is completely different from Kabul University. I can see the huge differences between these two Universities in terms of security, educational system, and the campus of the university.
First of all, the major difference between these two universities is in the security they provide. The American university of Afghanistan or we may say AUAF is much secured compared to Kabul

In the AUAF there is a high educational system concept for the students, which is equal to those in the foreign countries. They also use projectors for a better understanding of the students and there are laboratories in which students can do experiments. There is a vast library for the use of students to study with peace. In addition, there are computers for their uses. AUAF has a web site, and every student has his own site through which they can see their scores, find courses and also register for courses. There is more pressure on the students so they can really learn something and become more responsible and acknowledge. That is why the student is more aware and comfortable with the usage of technology which is a required skill in the modern world. The amount of students per class is appropriate so all the student can ask questions and solve their problems. On the other hand, in Kabul University there is no usage of projector. Also there are not enough materials in labs, so the student cannot actually learn by physically doing them. There is no web site for the university, you cannot choose your classes or register for any of them because they are already chosen for you, which means that you cannot take more classes in order to finish sooner. There is not any pressure on the students in Kabul University, also there are too many students per classes, so the teacher is not able to answer all the …show more content…
The Kabul University is an old university made a long time ago. It is a very huge university, all the faculties has a different building beside all these buildings there are a lot of green yards in which students can sit and study. There are a lot of trees, birds also a big parking lot. Kabul University is like a big park. However, the American university of Afghanistan has been made recently; it is relatively small in size compared to Kabul University. AUAF has a few buildings, which are not specific for a single major, but they are all used for all majors.
Over all, going to university is a way for everyone who wants to have a good job and bright future. As I mentioned before, there are a massive differences between American University of Afghanistan and Kabul University. Both universities are good enough to teach yet, AUAF is better to join because it has more security and more benefits in order to have a brighter

After reading and thoroughly analyzing both sides of the Taking Sides Issue, “Does the Modern University have Islamic Roots in the Islamic World?” I agree with the professor of history and philosophy of education Medhi Nakosteen; he touches the roots of the modern university to the Golden Age of Islamic Culture (750-1150 C.E).
