Introduction
From an early age, we’ve been told that education is the key to one’s success in life.
Study hard! Get good grades! Go to university!
And by making education freely available to all children, we’re giving everyone an equal opportunity to succeed in life. But the path to success and even middle-class existence is no longer so straightforward, if indeed it ever was.
What is education?
Education in its general sense is a form of learning in which the knowledge, skills, values, beliefs and habits of a group of people are transferred from one generation to the next through storytelling, discussion, teaching, training, and or research. Education may also include informal transmission of such information from one human being to another.
The education system in the UK is divided into four main parts, primary education, secondary education, further education and higher education. Children in the UK have to legally attend primary and secondary education which runs from about 5 years old until the student is 16 years old.
The educational system in Kazakhstan is presented by two languages:
Kazakh and Russian. Primary education is the most developed of the state’s educational system. Pupils receive their primary education in schools of
three
