Everyone gets angry sometimes. How the anger gets released depends on a person’s choice of action. Some people get angry often, while others remain calm before bursting with fury, but the anger soon disappears. Everyone has different methods to cope with their burning masses of fury inside of them. Some people use very callous ways to vent their anger, while others choose easy-going methods that are less destructive and much wiser. People who use violent techniques to solve their anger do so without the realization of the negative outcome. As their temper surfaces, they start to express their rage on everything and everyone around them. Their preferred methods may include: throwing fragile and expensive items on a hard surface, bending stick-like things around them till they reach their breaking point, ultimatums or threats of injury to the people they are upset with. Unfortunately, this causes other people or themselves physical and mental pain. People like this are often the ones who cannot manage to control their bundled up violent outbursts. If you are a friend of a person who likes to express their anger onto others until they are miserable as they are, you’d better be careful with them. Unlike a raging individual who destroys inanimate objects around them, the self-destructive kind of person is more likely to hurt themselves in order to get a negative reaction (often guilt) out of others around them. The signs to look out for may include grinding their teeth, mysterious bruises on their bodies or random scratches or cuts on their own skin. This type of person enjoys seeing the pain on others when he or she is in pain. They essentially see themselves easing their anger by sharing it through threats onto themselves and guilt onto others.
