Differentiate Between Different Learning Styles
What is learning style:- The various preferences and methods employed by learners in the process of learning.

Every individual have different style and techniques of learning. Some people may find that they have a dominant style of learning, with far less use of the other styles. Others may find that they use different styles in different circumstances. There is no right mix. Nor are your styles fixed. You can develop ability in less dominant styles, as well as further develop styles that you already use well. So the best way to learn always depends on the person by finding his own style of learning style. We have different kinds of learning styles.

Differentiation between different learning styles:-
There are three main types of learning styles: auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. Most people learn best through a combination of the three types of learning styles, but everybody is different.

Auditory Learners: Hear
Auditory learners would rather listen to things being explained than read about them. Reciting information out loud and having music in the background may be a common study method. Other noises may become a distraction resulting in a need for a relatively quiet place.

Visual Learners: See
Visual learners learn best by looking at graphics, watching a demonstration, or reading. For them, it’s easy to look at charts and graphs, but they may have difficulty focusing while listening to an explanation.

Kinesthetic Learners: Touch
Kinesthetic learners process information best through a “hands-on” experience. Actually doing an activity can be the easiest way for them to learn. Sitting still while studying may be difficult, but writing things down makes it easier to understand.
First is called visual in which we use and prefer mostly pictures and spatial understanding, while second is Aural in which we prefer to listen sounds and music on order to learn something effectively. Third is verbal, in this type of learning we use wordings and speeches. Fourth, Physical, in this type of learning we use a sense of touch and body language. Fifth is Logic, in which we prefer using reason and logic arguments. The sixth kind of learning style is social; this is one of the common types of learning style in which we prefer to learn in groups. Lastly, Solitary is the last kind of learning style in which individuals work and study alone to learn in their own style.

After the French and Indian War, tensions grew between Britain and the colonies. American colonies were justified for waging war and breaking away from Britain because we were trying to defend ourselves from unfair Parliament measures that were imposed on us without our consent. Such as, being so poorly and unfairly treated by British officers, we had no other choice but to resist the power of Britain over us and fight for our independence; and having imposed high taxes on necessary things.…

Preferred learning style is a multimodal learning style which includes all of the above mentioned four learning modes. First of all, visual learning strategies include looking at pictures, postures, slides, diagrams, graphs, flow charts, and underlining and highlighting the key words during learning. After the teaching session is over, a visual learner should recall visual images used during learning and should practice turning visual images into words again to be able to write if needed for examination. Secondly, Aural learning strategies include attending classes and then discussing with others to hear from them, attending tutorials, discussing topics with educators, using a tape recorder to record lecture and then listening to it, and reading notes aloud to hear then again in order to remember material. Third, Read/write learning strategies include writing and rewriting key words and ideas, making a new list from diagrams and graphs, reading notes silently over and over, and practicing examination by writing answers. Lastly, kinesthetic learning strategies include using all the senses to learn material via demonstration. It includes experimenting in laboratories, field trips to learn new ideas, listening to lecture which includes real…

The VARK learning style assessment tool, developed by Neil Fleming, is an assessment that can be taken to discover ones learning style. There are several learning styles; kinesthetic style; those who learn from hands on experience, auditory learners; a learning style of memorization by retaining what is heard (Blasen, n.d., para.1), visual learners; individuals who retain best through written language such as reading and writing ("VARK Questionnaire," 2011, para. 1), and last multimodal study strategy; a learning strategy of…

According to VARK (Fleming, 2001-2011), visual learners prefer pictures; they tend to look for the whole picture instead of breaking it down, and analyzing each portion. They will remember pictures or diagrams on study pages. Aural learners prefer to hear things; they will re-listen to taped lectures, and should attend discussions. Their class notes might be poor because they tend to listens instead of take notes, but they will recall stories or examples from the lectures. Read/write learners like words or lists; they take a lot of notes, and re-read them over and over. They use dictionaries,…

A learning style is the way in which a person processes new information. In the learning system there are three main types of learning which are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. People may learn best by being taught with the three learning methods, but others may not. Visual learners are people who learn by seeing. These people learn more where there are images, graphs, diagrams, and colors involved. Visual learners are learners that first have to see what they are expected to know. Auditory learners learn best by hearing. Lastly, there is the kinesthetic learners, also known as tactile learners, those learners learn best by the physical activity. In a class the students’ way of learning might not be the way the professor…

A learning style simply means how one learns and remembers information. Visual, auditory, or kinesthetic are the different learning styles. Learning styles can greatly go with personality, for instance a visual learner is usually neat and organized, while a kinesthetic learner is not so organized and impulsive. The visual learner thinks with pictures, likes to write things down, and can usually retain information easily. The auditory learner listens to information best and can usually verbalize and tell stories. Finally, the kinesthetic learner is a hands-on learner, likes to move around, and usually does not like to read directions. A teacher needs to recognize what type of learner each student is to understand how the student processes…
