Throughout the video, teachers praise the use of differentiated instruction and how such a method has helped them to reach out to their their students different pathways of learning and utilize their strengths in their own multiple intelligences to make material seem interesting to them. This video had introduced me to a differentiated instructional techniques that involved hats to teach a different culture’s person and using tactile-kinesthetic students to teach students to write answers on the board when the class is playing a game related to a particular lesson in American history. As well as using the differentiated instruction method that involved putting on hats to teach students the characteristics of immigrants that were arriving into the United States during the Gilded Age. In the activity, I will get the students to engage in the different cultures that immigrant by asking them about their impression of these immigrant cultures, then put on a hat that corresponds to that particular culture according to the student and act out what they described.
