teleports with themback to England by grabbing Polly’s hair as she goes through the portal when both put on their magic rings. She discovers her magical powers do not work in London, but she still holds her superhuman strength.
She enslaves Uncle Andrew and begins a wild trip through London trying to take over earth. Digory and Polly end the chaos by teleporting many individuals, involved in a scuffle, to another world. Instead they happen upon a world that Jadis recognizes as a world not created. A world that is dark and dreary. Then all witness the creation of a new world by a lion named Aslan. Aslan begin creating a beautiful and a healing world and is the creator of all things as he sings a merry melody. Aslan confronts Digory about bringing Jadis to Narnia and makes a mend with him as long as Digory helps protect Narnia from Jadis’ evil. Aslan summons Digory and Polly to gain access to a special place and bring back a magic apple. As Digory picks an apple he is faced with trickery from the witch. She want him to eat the forbidden apple, but Digory realizes it would be for the good of the witch and not Narnia. He realizes his trust and honesty prevails and returns to Narnia with the magic apple. He plant and give protections from despair of Jadis and
all things bad.
Aslan returns Digory, Polly and Uncle Andrew return to London. Digory’s apple restores his dying mother to health and he and Polly remain life long friends. Digory plants the apple’s core, together with the magic rings in the back yard of his aunt’s London home. Years later the tree that grows the core is blown down in a storm. Digory takes the wood from the three and makes a wardrobe, setting the events in the ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’.
