Verdes, California.

Each of the 25 cars in the planned limited edition DiMora Vicci 6.2 Emperor series features original artwork by Zen Master Lee Sun-Don in the Great Treasure Gate collection. The original oil painting that has been meticulously transferred to the Vicci using gold leaf and brilliant colors is called 'Development Unbound.'

'We were delighted to receive the invitation from the Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance to use their venue for introducing the Vicci 6.2 to Southern California,' noted Sir Alfred J. DiMora,

owner of DiMora Motorcar. 'Every Concours d'Elegance pays tribute to great cars of the past, lovingly preserved for posterity. The design of the Vicci 6.2 honors the Art Deco movement of the 1930s, and Master Lee's artwork sets a new standard for the future collaboration of artists with automakers.'

Foresight Research). “Out of the all the attendees surveyed more than fifty percent of them stated that their decision was highly influenced by an auto show” (Burke). In any sale, engagement is a key motivator. Burke points out that purchasers influence increased from visitors who participated in ride or drive at the show. The influence further more increased when the consumer spoke to specialists at brand displays they were considering. The impact a car show has on people is not only limited to a bump in dealership sales, but also influences the customer on how they order the…

Located at the entrance of the third floor that was designated as Europe, I chose a three dimensional sculpture that is called the Archangel Saint Michael Vanquishing Satan by Henry High Armstead. This sculpture was started and finished in the year 1852. There was no art work next to the piece I chose but on the other side of the wall that it was on there was a painting called The Virgin and Child with Saints in a Landscape by Alessandro Tiarini. The Virgin and Child with Saints in a Landscape is an oil painting done on a canvas in 1640. This sculpture is a cast statue based on one of the saints. It was created to show the strength of Saints and how they were loyal, and angelic hosts of heaven out of a bronze material that was shaped and carved. The art work was purchased by the…

LOVE, by American contemporary artist Robert Indiana, to this day, maintains its status as one of the most iconic American works of art. This essay intends to juxtapose the current representation of the LOVE sculpture to that of the original in the 1960s, while illustrating the social, political and cultural climate which most influenced the creation of the original, as well as the contributions of the piece to modern art and its historical placement within art. Additionally, this exposition intends to discuss why the meaning of LOVE today has changed, and whether or not the sculpture is relevant to modern society.…

The Art Institute of Chicago is an artistic architectural structure that graces Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. At the entrance of the Art Museum, stand two guardian lion statues. Lion statues were status symbols for great dwellings that were placed outside of main entranceways to promote good and to stop evil from entering in. As I entered the building, I sensed myself going back into an era, into a past where people traded ideas and learned from each other. It is a past where we find works of yesteryears within our grasp; to be remembered, shared and treasured.…

Vanitas, found in many recent pieces, is a style of painting begun in the 17th Century by Dutch artists. Artists involved in this movement include Pieter Claesz, Domenico Fetti and Bernardo Strozzi . Using still-life as their milieu, those artists and others like them provide the viewer with ideas regarding the brevity of life. The artists are giving us a taste of the swiftness with which life can fade and death overtakes us all. Some late 20th Century examples were shown recently at the Virginia Museum of Art in Richmond, Virginia. Among the artists represented in this show were Miroslaw Balka (Polish, b. 1958), Christian Boltanski (French, b. 1944), Leonardo Drew (American, b. 1961), Felix Gonzalez-Torres (American, b. Cuba, 1957- 1996), Jim Hodges (American, b. 1957), Anish Kapoor (British, b. India, 1954), and Jac Leirner (Brazilian, b. 1961).…
