A woman entering the ceremony with her hand bent on her hip completely clothed. This woman is wearing a veil and could possibly be a bride this could be a marriage to the god Dionysus on the other hand her appearances seems to be pregnant. There is a bare child, a boy reading from a scroll or lurgies rituals at the same time he may be read out loud. There is a seated female behind the bare boy, perhaps a priestess or a scholar; the high persist has her hand on his right shoulder also a scroll in her left hand. In addition to them is lady catering a plate of food as she is walking about. To illustrate the four figures next to catering woman they give the impression of preparing to bath furthermore there is a liquid being dispensed on the tabletop I am certain this is a ritual. There are diverse emotions in this group being seen. The Silenus is in a standing drunken state he is an elder figure identified as a Satyr that are constantly drunk in addition hangs around Dionysus he appears to be playing a harp. Next are two figures sitting the male is playing pan pipes, in addition the female whom is standing gives the impression she is stunned, surprised or in a state of anxiety but, her reaction to something then moving away from it, her left hand is foreshorten her expression looking over to the back while moving away from the mask. A young figure is standing above another Silenus.
The cloak surrounds her physique beautifully as the wind blows into it. The light and shadow are used to produce the volume in the background. Dionysus posture is drunk in an unbridled pleasure state. Observing his body language he sprawled across the lap of Ariadne his mortal lover, his staff is draped over him. Dionysus physique is practically nude his wrap is dropping away. The body language is in a calming sleep, dreaming, drunken, relaxing, and awakening state. Ariadne’s hand is relaxed over his shoulder in intimacy, He is enjoying himself. There is a kneeling figure that is revealing something, maybe food, money or goods fails basket that is under a purple cloth. The female winged figured is looking over her left with a twisted body whipping a woman’s back which is exposed. The woman being lashed her head is down in a lap of another woman who is comforting her. The woman has successful completion of the rite. Alongside them a woman who is nude as well as dancing her drape forms a crescent shape which forms to her body. There is a larger window that breaks up the fresco and the last scene is the completion of the ritual. These three figures on the right have a small angelic figure holding a mirror for the bride. A seated figure that is doing her hair and another standing figure that’s helping her do her hair, maybe for a wedding she could be the bride of Dionysus.
