Without nondisabled students the children won’t be viewed as “different” in a bad way. They will always be different, but they will learn that it isn’t bad that they are different. This can help boost the children’s confidence and self-esteem, as well as help them become more tolerant at the cause of all of the other people around them with different disabilities.
The schools will also be more tolerant of things like needing time off and specific things that the children do or their schedules that can’t be changed because it might throw the kids off. This ties in with my first point. Having teachers who have read about severe mental disabilities and how to deal with them can be useful, but many teachers at Special Needs Schools have mentally disabled kids or have worked with them for years. Special Needs Schools provide a setting that is specially designed to meet the needs of severely disabled students, so how could it be a bad
