Since the 1800’s it was common that women would not have to work, but rather stay at home and be a house wife. They were mostly considered second-class citizens, and did not have the right to do anything, even the right to vote. As time would pass by, women would be inferior to men; not having any say or do to the choices of their husbands once they are married. Some examples of women being discriminated would be not getting paid enough as men do, job …show more content…
Some events can be, “1963: Congress passes the Equal Pay Act, promising equitable wages for the same work regardless of sex, race, religion or national origin.” Meaning women can get payed equally, regardless their sex, religion, etc. “1973: In Roe v. For example, men rape a woman, they end up pregnant, and the woman wants to abort it for psychological, or for financially reasons, they end up getting misjudged at the fact that they do not want to have a child when it is the man’s fault for committing an unfair, repugnant decision. Another example can be when the nominee for the election of 2016, Hillary Clinton was competing against Donald J. Trump. Everyone detested the fact that there was a chance she could have been our next president. They hated her views in many topics, which were different from Donald Trump’s. Many men find women as a weak or unintellectual target; they often think women cannot do the same work as they do, but in fact they
