At this time there was still racial segregation. Women's lifestyle has also changed very much. Women did not have much freedom at the time. During the time the laws favored white men. men.Women are now given the right to vote. Still to this day I do not think women have reached full equality with men in the work place. Women are still getting paid less than men do, also people think women are weaker and they are unable to handle jobs that men do. They have made major advancement in the world today but they have still not reached full equality with men. At this time America was in a lot of conflicts.
There was a lot of racial segregation, their was also poor working conditions. Their was also a lot of economic stress, America didn't experience economic growth until the 1950's. During this time the United States became a powerful nation with the strong national government. Also women were trying to fight for equality. Racial Segregation was a huge problem. African Americans struggled for economic equality. African Americans were treated horribly during this time, they had to work in horrible working conditions and get beaten by there masters and they got nothing out of it. The basically had to work for free, There was also a lot of economic stress during this time. Farmers were having trouble selling and growing crops. They were not getting richer. Farmers tried to buy more machinery for their crops but the more the spent the more poor they were. They could not make a living out of this. Also other business were
struggling.
Also at this time laws favored white men. White men had more freedom, they earned more salary than women. It was also legal to own African Americans as slaves. They also were given rights that other people did not have.
