Another difference between the two movies is the villain. In Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, the Sheriff of Nottingham is the main antagonist. There are many things about Disney’s Robin Hood that separates it from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. They appeal to different crowds and they each have their own twists on elements of the story that make them unique. Although, the writers of each movie did keep some components true to the original story, which makes the two movies similar. Both of the movies were original and interesting in their own ways.
