Dodge City Steak House Case Study
The name of the restaurant is Dodge City Steakhouse. They are starting business about 31 years. The first 25 years, restaurant’s business were great, but dropped off dramatically to the last five years. Also, he lost his passion, when he is working on the restaurant. Now, they have to change something that can help restaurant, because if they are not change, they will close two months after. They are going to make change two days and with only use ten thousand dollars. Even though they are really wanted to change, they face to many problems in their restaurant. The issues of their business are decoration, foods, and management.
First, this restaurant’s sign is outdated. Also, they are using many types decoration in their restaurant. They put taxidermy on the wall; also they put woodcarving decoration in the restaurant too. There are many decorations are old and dirty. This looks very messy. Furthermore, their restaurant moving line is not well, and the light has a problem. It is not the only problem of the Dodge City steakhouse.

The Dodge City steak house has too many menus in their restaurant. When customers come to the restaurant, they spend too much time to choose their food. It makes customers feeling bewildered. Because there have too many menus, they have to prepare many foods. It makes their food costs high and not easy to control their inventory. Also, because they cannot control their inventory, they use a lot of frozen food. Almost frozen foods are not delicious. It cause food’s quality decline. As a result, customers feel not satisfaction. The food is the major issue of the Dodge City steak
