Dogs Sense Of Smell
Dogs are known to be one of the friendliest of animals there are on the planet. They may even be referred to as human’s best friend in both crime and everyday life. However there has been a sudden uproar within society in regards to whether or not a dog and their sense of smell should be used as evidence within a court case. Naturally, various individuals such as myself support that a dog’s sense of smell should be allowed to be used as evidence within a court case. Of course this idea may always be rebottled by those who believe differently. Initially, a dog’s sense of smell has been proven to be over one hundred times better as opposed to the scent of smell a human may have. Inclusively they can detect a certain smell up to 40 feet underground. A dog’s sense of smell is powerful enough to be able to smell a scent which no human could ever smell as our sense of smell is not as strong as theirs. For instance within Texas there was a case in which Calvin Lee Miller was accused of a sexual assault and robbery. Various scholars have proven that a dogs sent of smell is strong enough to smell a certain smell although it may be located to be 40 feet underground.
