The note had been stuck to Eric's windshield when he arrived at his car that morning. At first he thought it was nothing more than a piece of junk mail left by some individual attempting to promote one thing or another. However, upon closer inspection, it became quite clear that the note was left specifically for Eric himself. His name had been scribbled across the paper, and so he was quick to lift his wiper and pluck the note from his frosted window. He had to wonder how it even managed to survive the night considering it had snowed nonstop throughout the evening. The edges were soaked which made it slightly more difficult to peel apart, but he managed to get it open without causing significant damage.
