Reading this stories dialogue made me believe it and understand it perfectly. I was in the story while reading the entire thing. My imagination was giving me good pictures about everything happening in the story and all the conversations were accruing in front of me. I like the way that the author gave great detail. In the past history this was what was happening. This “Negro” student is how she was mention in this story also is another example of why it was realistic to me. We did have that happen at one point in time in our past history and by the looks of it something like that is happening to our world/ history today. The religion point of view is also another reason why I can say it’s a realistic. Many religions and own believes are part of our world as of now. Some people understand others peoples believes, religions, and language but unfortunately not everyone is ok with that. Race awareness also has a lot to do in this story. That’s one topic that hits very close to home at this point in time. Racism is a topic that many of use wished it didn’t excise, but this story is one of many that proves that our history is reacquiring again just at a different time frame in history. I enjoyed reading from other points of views. The sad true is that it does
