land a Front Side Double Cork 1260 in the half-pipe competition (Bane). In simpler terms, the
professional snowboarder completed two corked, or slightly tilted, flips while also making three
and a half rotations. Considering the trick’s great difficulty, White earned a perfect score of 100
for being the first to conquer the maneuver. In order for someone to land this trick, they must
first understand how it works. The key to mastering elite tricks like the Double McTwist 1260,

The
main difference between the two tricks is the “corked” flip in the Double Cork 1260, while the
Double McTwist 1260 only consists of two regular front flips. When approaching the take-off, it
is important that the boarder finds the spot of take-off and approaches it while on the heels of the
board. Also, the same technique as used in the Double McTwist is used in the Double Cork to
create the momentum for the horizontal rotations. As the rider reaches the take-off spot, they
must pop off their heels and drop their front hand down while bringing their head to their
shoulder to create the corked flip (Trails). After completing the third rotation, the rider must find
the landing because their back will be turned when landing (Trails). The rider must then land
after completing a half of spin from the time they found their landing. This trick is especially
difficult because the rider lands in the opposite direction from when they took off. With all of the
different aspects of the trick, the Double Cork 1260 is considered by many to be the most
difficult trick ever landed in the
