1. Why is Dr. Carter having such a hard time with the idea of marketing? Doctor Carter seems to be an old school traditional doctor that still has the narrow minded old ways of traditional practice. His belief that a good doctor doesn’t need to advertise but rather a good doctor’s work speaks for itself. They need to start networking by going to neighborhood hospitals and speaking at the lactation nurses’ prenatal lectures. This would help to bring in new patients and new mothers like to hear from the doctors themselves because they like to be reassured so going to the classes would be a positive approach. Creating patient survey to get feedback about their experience and seeing if they are willing to refer others along with use real life testimonials can boost their patients number and they will achieve the new clientele they are looking
