“Do you like green eggs and ham?” said Theodor Seuss Geisel or better known as his stage name, Dr. Seuss (Green Eggs and Ham, 1960). He wrote over 40 children’s books that inspire children all over America. Books like Green Eggs and Ham, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Horton Hears a Who, and others are all iconic children’s books that influenced the minds of everyone ("Theodor Seuss Geisel", 2002). Some of his iconic stories were even chosen to be made into movies because of the creative and inspiring content. His stories are unique and certain pieces are considered some of the best children’s books in the nation.

He used everyday sounds to add rhythm/music to his poems which also influences skills (How Music Can Increase IQ, n.d) . Along with the education factor, Dr. Seuss’s books also entertained readers.
