“Dragon, Dragon” Critical Review

In “Dragon, Dragon” by John Gardner he made this story humors because of the characters. Also,Gardner set the story in medieval times but represented modern day items. “The dragon only comes out when it is a full moon the dragon comes out of his lair and ravaged the countryside. He frightened maidens and stopped up chimneys and broke store windows and set people's clocks back and made dogs bark until no one could hear himself think”and a lot more, it is clear to see is not a typical dragon. John Gardner creative humor by having the wizard turn the queen in a rosebush. John Gardner made the cobbler say this
