Dream Big
In the 21th century, human beings have witnessed the rapid improvement of technology. 3D printer is a desktop device that can print out an actual thing, such as entire cars, shoes and even blood vessels, and the price of this device is getting less costly nowadays.(3D printing is an emergent technology that allows personalized and customized manufacturing of real 3D objects. So in the same way that desktop publishing allows the individual to print books( rather thatn going to a publishing house))However, the advanced technology has carried out some knotty problems. Intelligent criminals have found dark function of 3D printing, for instance, printing an unregistered AR-15 rifle part by part. In addition, there seems to a trend that, among the society, the employment position for manufacturer will be fewer. As far as I am concerned, 3D printing will bring about unimaginable changes and numerous benefits to society. I believe that the development of 3D printing will bring increasingly benefit to the society, changing the world for the better.

First, one of thee obvious benefit of 3D printing is allowing manufacturers to produce customized products at a lower cost. (For most industries, it would be a tempting opportunity to reduce the production costs.) Though the initial setup costs are relatively higher, the profit in the long term will be definitely maximized. For one thing, 3D printing has become cheaper than cheap labour in third world countries. Additionally, the cost of 3D printer will decline throughout the time, with the device being popular in the near future. Furthermore, the prototype is able to be quickly printed. Hence(consequently/thus/as a consequence), template can be easily modified if not satisfied. And the costs of customized products are the same for the mass production products, which means that the entity will get handsome profit from customized products.

Furthermore(moreover/ secondly), there are huge potential business opportunities in

3D printing can print almost anything you want to a 3D version. Thomas Jefferson writes a letter to George Wythe that states “ Has there ever been one lost since the art of printing has rendered it practicable to multiply and disperse copies? This leads us then to the only means of preserving those remains of our laws now under consideration, that is, a multiplication of printed copies.” It’s important because without the multiplication of printed copies books would have not been in the same condition as they are now. They would been eaten by bookworms, not taken care of, and if there is a fire they could have been burned and had been lost forever. 3D printing is possible because the printing press had already been invented.. 3D printing can help since a spray can be made in the 3D printer to kill the bookworms.Francis Bacon states “ The Printing Press has changed the appearance and state of the whole world,” ( Bacon, March…

The popularity of 3-D printing was mainly due to the mixture of U.S. government funding and a handful of commercial businesses who first made it popular. This combination created a new wave of extraordinary popularity around the idea of 3-D printing ever since. Nowadays, 3-D printing is extremely widespread and it’s used in various fields such as aviation, automotive, medical, and manufacturing.…

3D printing is a form of additive manufacturing technology where a three dimensional object is created by laying down successive layers of material. 3D printers are generally faster, more affordable and easier to use than other additive manufacturing technologies. 3D printers offer product developers the ability to print parts and assemblies made of several materials with different mechanical and physical properties in a single build process. Advanced 3D printing technologies yield models that closely emulate the look, feel and functionality of product prototypes.…

3D printing is fast becoming a massive part of manufacturing and fabrication all over the world. Scientists and technological experts are able to make a three dimensional solid object from a digital on screen model. This is achieved using an additive process where different materials i.e. liquid, powder or sheet material are added to a printer, which then come together to create layers as thin as 100 micrometres, even 16 micrometres in some cases. Millions of these layers are fused together to create the end product as designed on the computer. The final product and drawing are almost identical.…

Hobbyist 3D printing has created copyright issues, from people a man selling iPod/iPhone docks created to look like an item from the TV show The Game of Thrones, the creation of star wars characters, or other game, movie or TV show memorabilia. Controlling these copyright issues will be far more difficult than that of the music and film industries. As long as someone is proficient at CAD, knows someone who is, and has access to a 3D printer then these items can be replicated. Another issue is that of safety from the creation of weapons, there was a guy that created and 3D-printed a working gun. There had been websites allowing users to have designs of their guns, although have since taken them down due to their knowledge of their designs having been used for 3D…
